About Central Impact
Central Impact is the exclusive manufacturer of the Soilkee Renovator a revolutionary Australian invention and patented technology across 37 countries worldwide.
Director, Niels Olsen first invented the Soilkee Renovator as an innovative way of planting maize crops to fill the Summer feed gap for pasture-based agriculture, specifically for use on his West Gippsland farm in Victoria. Planting with the Soilkee technique would enable a way of growing crops amongst existing pasture that would provide a competition free zone for successful germination of the maize seed, while maintaining 80% of the pasture instead of baring the whole field.
Initially applying the prototype to his field without adding seed, Niels observed the action of the machine invigorated growth of the existing pasture, quickly realising this machine was more than just another seeder, patent applications followed.
Achieving the desired objective of, filling the feed gap with greatly reduced down-time for grazing, prevention of topsoil erosion, and avoiding disruption of the soil ecosystem for continuous growth, only part of a much bigger outcome.
