About Amtas
Amtas Pty Ltd morphed out of Universal Mining Fabrications in the early 1990’s to supply mining machinery to small and medium sized gold miners. In 1994 Amtas branched out into fertiliser handling/ blending equipment and has been supplying a wide range of equipment to local companies ever since.
As part of the blending equipment required it was necessary to develop a range of conveyor belt weighers and components for loss in weight hoppers. Amtas now supplies belt weighers, calibration chains (up to 500kg/m and 8.0m long) and deployment systems to the likes of Newcrest Mining and Alcoa.
Amtas has been designing and manufacturing a large range of standard and one off design equipment for 30 years. They can aid customers who can’t source exactly what they need for their operation.
